Slendertoxtea - Review Edition // The Taste Test.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

We are now into a new year, the festive period has gone, we have over indulged and we have refrained from any form of exercise as possible.

I am not into this whole " new year, new me" bull. I am still the same old fabulous person that I was last year. Ha.

Although, with that being said, I did consume an awful lot of crap in 2015. I just don't know what was wrong with me, I just kept eating like... Everything!!! Eating my feelings most probably. Ha.

A detox is always a good idea (or so I have been told) to participate in when you are feeling a little sluggish, bloated and just damn right awful. It's meant to help take all those nasty little toxins out of your body and in return you feel and see "a better you".

I have never been a fan of 'detoxing', I mean I have tried drinking herbal teas and quite frankly I have found it highly horrific.

Why would you want to drink a cup of cardboard? It's beyond me!

Anything healthy, nine times out of ten, tastes awful.

Seeing as it is the new year I thought it might be time for me to try and give this whole tea drinking thing another go.

I have been in contact with Slendertoxtea who provides all sorts of detoxing beverages. Their products range from herbal teas, milkshakes and coffees. Basically they cater for everyone.

They have a Sleeptox range, a Daytox range, Slender patches, Slender shakes, Acai Slenderpowder and Slender coffee's.

Slendertox tea have kindly gifted me their Daytox and Sleeptox products for me to give my honest review on, whether it was positive or not.

There product's aim is to aid in a healthy lifestyle for the individual. It contains ingredients only from natural herbs and plants that are designed to help you lose weight. It is a no calorie supplement "hurrraaaayyy" with ingredients that cleanses the colon to improve metabolism and your overall health.

What a frickin awesome product already. Literally the sound of that had got me interested on its own.

I am a slim person anyway but I have put some weight on *cough, cough* so this product is ideal for me to combine into my diet to keep me all balanced.

Now I tried the product yesterday (09.01.16) with quite low expectations to be honest. I was just expecting it to smell and taste of vile... Well, nothing actually.

The first thing I will say is that I really like the packaging. It's really easy on the eye with a great blend of colours, has a simple design, the font is very readable and I love the shiny texture.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I was given a two week supply of the 'Daytox' which you have a cup of that a day. The 'Sleeptox' product you take every other night, it states 7 day's worth on the packet but effectively you get two weeks worth as well.

On opening the product, I had a little sniff (as you do) and I was like "oh no, it smells like herbs and I know what this means!" I then proceeded to go downstairs and boil the kettle.

I waited for the water to cool before I put the tea bag in as you're not meant to put it in boiling water. Once in the water the tea actually smelt like a normal cup of tea, as if you have put a PG Tips in the cup. I liked that a lot. It didn't smell medical. Ha.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I think I actually left my tea bag in a little long because I was singing and completely forgot it was in there.

Whoops. :)

Okay,so the taste test... Are you ready?!

I absolutely.... LOVED it!! Yes, you heard me I really did.

I was drinking it whilst singing and it was doing wonders for my throat and really soothing. Granted it did have a 'green tea' taste BUT it wasn't over powering, it was subtle and it wasn't offensive in anyway.

I am a stickler for textures and tastes and the smallest thing can put me off. No ingredient in this product made me gag!

High five!!

I was so pleased with myself that I finished the cup of tea. I was then really excited to try the 'Sleeptox'.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

'Sleeptox' - the one that you take at bedtime only (every other night) seemed amazing.

It keeps you calm and relaxed and aids sleep, which is a god send for me at the moment as I have insomnia.

It contains a Hawthorn grain which helps lower your blood pressure and studies have suggested it is beneficial in lowering your anxiety levels.

This product is for me as I have suffered with anxiety for years!

I thought that with this product maybe being stronger I wouldn't like the taste, but O.M.G this one tastes AMAZING!! No joke now, it tasted quite sweet and when I read the ingredients it has orange in it. Out of the two this one wins hands down for the taste factor!!

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I am a little worried now because I think I may become addicted to this product and all it's health benefits and that's not going to be good as I am job hunting. Ha.

I will definitely need to get some more when I run out!!!

I will NEVER falsely review a product just because a company has sent me something to review. I will always give you my 100% honest opinion and I was prepared to write a bad one about this, but I literally have nothing bad to say. It's great. I have found it's given me energy too and I have only been drinking it for 2 days.

It does mention on the back about side effects of using the product as obviously this helps cleanse the colon so you could end up with toilet issues (like running to it, ha.) I so far, "touch wood" haven't had any toilet issues. All is good in the hood.

If you would like to give this product a go and I promise you it is totally worth it. You can purchase their products on their website: Slendertoxtea.co.uk

The package I was sent is 14 days worth retailing at £19.99 and for me I think that's totally worth it especially as you know that all that is going into your body is natural ingredients, no calories and it's detoxing your body and soul.

It aids in slimming too which is what us women look for a lot of the time when dieting or detoxing.

It's of the cheapest and best on the market, so don't miss out!!

So what are you waiting for, go get that stuff and reap the benefits, because I am!!

What I Got For Christmas 2015

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Nooooooooo Christmas is over for another year!!!

I cannot believe how quickly last year has gone. There have been many ups and downs and this year I am making big decisions with my life and hopefully I will be moving to London. That's another story in itself.

Now, I love reading and watching YouTube video's on what people received for Christmas so I am putting one up myself just in case any one is interested and is as nosey as me!

:)

*Disclaimer* - This isn't a bragging post by no means whatsoever just a collective of gifts that I received on Christmas day that I would like to share with you guys.

If you don't like this type of post I would stop reading now.

Now for the fun stuff...

I was up until around 3 am on Christmas Day wrapping presents. I always do it all on Christmas Eve because it's more fun that way. I had a Christmas film on and it was just nice, you know?!

Christmas morning I had to clean Cody out and feed him before I did anything else and then we opened his presents. Ha.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I have a stocking every year! I love a good old stocking me. Traditional lass I am!! I got my mum and dad one this year so we all had one so that was fun to do together. I got some little bits and bobs, like makeup bits, chocolate and some books.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Now the fun part, I love the heading down stairs part because everyone is so excited. We didn't get around to opening presents until around 10.30 am as the family started to call.

I opened Bear's presents with her first and she got that excited I think some of her tooth snapped off :( I was like "oh, that can't be good" she is quite old and her breath smells like the bog of eternal stench at the moment.

So ladies and gents' this is what I received off my family.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk
Yay!! I have wanted these brushes in like forever after I saw Emily Canham use them. They are animal cruelty free which is frickin AMAZING and they are meant to be really good brushes!! I am afraid to use them as they look soooo pretty.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

My brother got me this. I ran out a while back and since that day my hair wasn't the same. It felt horrid and the Argon Oil that I was using was absolute crap. If I were to ever recommend a hair care product it would 100% be this. It's amazing and I find my hair grows a lot better with this.
leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Whooo hoooo, I finally own a Naked Pallet. Mum and dad did good!! Again, I am so afraid to use it as it's perfect and who wants to ruin perfection. I fell in love with the packaging.

Well played Urban Decay ;)

Your Christmas list wouldn't be the same without some sort of Mac product on there. My favourite shade ever is 'Honeylove' and I only wear matte shades. Mum and dad got me 'Kinda Sexy' and the 'Whirl' lip liner. Score.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Accessorize is another one of my favourite places and mum and dad got me this lovely taupe 'Cassidy' satchel and rose gold purse!! Rose gold is always a winner.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

My brother got me this also. Frosted Cranberry. Body shop is always a good choice.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Faux leather trousers. New Look bottoms always fit me perfectly and these weren't an exception. Fitted me like a glove.

I had money from my brother, my nan, aunties and uncles (including vouchers)

I also got some lush bath oils too but they were too messy to photograph.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Everything that I received I loved. I was very spoilt and was given some lovely things! I appreciate everything that I get in general as I am not a materialistic person.

I usually by myself everything so Christmas is a brilliant time to appreciate other people's thoughtful gifts. The best part for me though is giving my gifts to my family.

It's the best time of year.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

That has got to be the most pathetic Christmas dinner ever in the history of dinners!! Ha. I don't like roast dinners but I like to take part as it's Christmas. This picture was missing the bread sauce though. I really dislike potatoes but these were pretty nice. But yeah, this picture makes me laugh... A lot.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Yep. I had to have a glas o'wine. I had a real crap time before Christmas so this was highly needed.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Harry Styles is my new found obsession. He is lovely.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Boxing day sales! I caved and bought the Naked 2 pallet. Whoops. I want the Naked 1 now.  I bought a couple things that I needed to re-purchase and some things that I didn't get at Christmas so I got some more rose gold stuff, rings from Accessorize, Top Shop goodies a massive Yankee Candle and some other bits and bobs.

You can see for yourself.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Yep, you guessed it I also bought a One Direction poster *covers eyes and laughs*

I really like their new album, my dad bought it my mum for Christmas and since then I have stolen it!!

What I would like to know though is why Hazza hasn't asked me to marry him yet. ;)

*Dreaming*

There you have it. What I got for Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I loved writing it.

Love

We've All Got Issues // All The Single Ladies Put Your Hands Up.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I don't know if anyone else is the same or going through the same things but currently I feel so "blaahhhh" and there are a million reasons as to why.

I am writing openly in this post about my current reservations.

It's not always easy to talk out loud to a real life person but it is somewhat easier to write it down to access what is really going on.

In life there are no easy ways out nor are there magic fixes for things, especially feelings. No one can tell you how you should be feeling because deep down you want to acknowledge the fact that the 'good advice' is right but you cannot change everything that is spinning in your mind.

I don't have a massive close knit group of friends so right now this is the next best thing, I can vent, explain and ponder on what I write on here. It gives me some comfort to know that I may not be the only one who is having a massive frickin ball of doom hanging over my head.

I cannot say that 2015 has been the worst year ever because it's not, admittedly it's had its ups and downs but in the last few months I have had to evaluate a lot of things going on in my life.

SINGLE WOMAN SEEKS SOMEONE... NOT JUST ANYONE... RIGHT NOW... YOU!

To start off, I have been single for what, like... 6 years now and I thought I was okay with it. It turns out I am not, I am 28 and I am still god damn single, childless and still living with my parents.

Hardly living the dream, right?!

After a while it gets you down, a lot of friends have moved to the big smoke and I am left here amongst bails of hay and road kill. Not ideal. The fall out from this is that I rarely get out, a night out has become a thing of the past... A distant memory. Its tragic. How on earth am I meant to meet someone when most people don't even know I exist?!

The guys I do meet are jerks... Actually complete asshole's and the one's I genuinely like are either taken, gay or I am firmly in their friend zone. What is actually up with that?

I mean what is that above? Who even say's that?! THIS is why I am picky!!

Why is it, when you find someone that you click with, feel comfortable with and can be yourself with they are untouchable? So many questions that need answering but unfortunately I don't have the resolution.

It's rare that I can be like that with someone. The worst is when you were completely oblivious to any 'feelings' going on and then it suddenly hits you in the face like "oh hi, I thought you were doing so well but here, have a bunch of freaking emotions and thoughts. That should change things" :)

And then, BAM.. It's hit you with full force like you have been pied in the face.

How are you meant to tell someone that you want more than what you are now without losing them forever? Catch twenty two situation, you don't tell them and you feel like you are dying a slow death. Or you tell them and risk digging your own grave. Either way you will not win the battle.

That is happening to me and it sucks serious ass because... What, you cannot actually tell the person what you're feeling. What if what you're actually feeling isn't about the person in question but of a general situation that you are confusing into conjunction with reality? You cannot let this affect the relationship/friendship because THAT is total suicide. Plus, who am I kidding. It's never going to happen.

I just want the small things but that has become a game of cat and mouse. So many games. Why so many games?

Then your mind works over time just to put you on edge even more than you are already. "Do they think the same?" "No, they won't be thinking the same because er... they don't even know that you're thinking what you're thinking". Forget about the meat sweats it's the fear sweats that you need to be afraid of.

Arrgghhhh, I really dislike being a woman sometimes because all these little hormones kick in and make you seem like a picnic short of a packet of crisps. We are NOT though, we are just trying to work out our irrational selves.

I cry at everything at the moment (in secret as I don't like crying in front of people). I blame the music in a lot the things I watch... It can't possibly be ME!! I am a happy soul and I don't like feeling crappy. I thought it was about a main reason, I think it was about that main reason. Maybe it's not. Who knows?!

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I wish I was one of those people who could just switch off completely but I can't. I am learning and it's hard. You wouldn't be able to tell though because I hide the reality from my face. Poker face expert me. :D

Being an adult really isn't all that fun, I want to be in London... Since I was young I have always said I will move to London and then to New York (obviously I wasn't thinking straight back then as I have a fear of flying. Ha). I am just too scared to do it on my own. I really do annoy myself.

I love how I am just venting here and most of it probably doesn't even make sense.

2016 is now here and I don't know what the hell that's going to bring me, but it better be some good luck.

I want to be in a job/career that I love and if that does mean moving to London then that's what I will have to do. Maybe have a panic attack in between. Ha.

And I want all the other things that a woman wants in life.

Right now, I am biding my time for all the right reasons, that said, doing so will bring me all the things that I want.

Hopefully.
