Oh hiiii!!!

Guess who's back... Back again... Leya's back... Tell yo friends!!

(Now I have that freaking song in my head)

It's the beginning of a fresh new week and a new set of goals. All mine are failing miserably right now. We wont even touch on that subject.

My brother has pizza right now and I WANT ONE!! I had god damn lettuce leaves, yes, leaves. I would of had one if I hadn't of eaten crap all day. I cannot wait for Autumn so I can exercise again properly. In this muggy little heat I cannot function let alone rip my muscles to shreds. Ha.

You guys should know me by now... I am an addict.

My name is Leya and I am addicted to makeup and just shopping in general.

Now, I am not one of those who has to be shopping all the time, I just like picking things up that I genuinely need or it has caught my eye for one reason or another.

Beauty Bay is quickly becoming my new found favourite addiction. There's free shipping over £15 and they stock a lot of the American products that aren't readily available in the UK.

My favourite brands are particularly Morphe, Makeup Geek and LA Girl. There are so many more brands I want to try though. I REALLY want the ABH Moonchild Glow Kit but you can't get it here and it's limited edition. Just like me. :D

You can find the link to Beauty Bay on my page, go spend your money. You won't regret it. This is my third order.

As it is so simply put in the title of this post, you know it's a haul. This time it is a collective as I have bought some other bits and bobs too from other stores. I visited Superdrug and good old Primark. I didn't go OTT, I was pretty stable.

I have decided to post this haul because everything I bought is extremely affordable and easily accessible!!

Lets GO!!

Yes you can see correctly!! I FINALLY got one of the most sort after palettes there is and that's the Morphe 350M. If you read my previous posts you would of known that I had tried for months and months to get my hands on the original 350 palette but it sold out soooo quickly. It's like everyone inhaled it. I never stood a chance. SO, when Beauty Bay warned us the complete matte version was coming out the next day I was on that shit man. I set my alarm to wake up extra early (I am sad, I don't give any carebares) so I could clean Cody (my Guinea pig) out and at least brush my teeth.

I got it!! YAS!!! I love working with matte makeup, especially eyeshadows' so this palette is perfect for me. The tones are incredible and 100% my style and I cannot wait to use it.

This is everything I bought in my Beauty Bay haul. I have a thaaang for LA Girl too right now, as mentioned and also Makeup Geek. I bought the empty Morphe Palette to put all my single pans in. This beauty was just a little over £5, which is hella amazing as it fits the MG pans in perfectly. I need three more pans to complete my palette (which is magnetic) and I now want, Corrupt, Shimma Shimma and Morocco (all MG).

collective haul, haul, makeup, beauty bay, primark, superdrug, la girl, morphe brushes, 350, 350m, makeup geek, makeup artist, loreal, garnier, collection concealer, beauty blogger

This empty pallet is a complete steal at over £5 compared to how much the Z palettes are. I am sooo happy with this and it's super cute!

In all its glory, the 350M palette. Forget look at "that glow though". Look at those tones though. They are so Autumnal, it's me in a freaking palette guys! This was just over £19.

collective haul, haul, makeup, beauty bay, primark, superdrug, la girl, morphe brushes, 350, 350m, makeup geek, makeup artist, loreal, garnier, collection concealer, beauty blogger

MG - Chickadee, Morphe - Blackberry.

The Makeup Geek is just under £5 and the Morphe one is a barg at just under £2.

Can I get a "hell yeah"!

collective haul, haul, makeup, beauty bay, primark, superdrug, la girl, morphe brushes, 350, 350m, makeup geek, makeup artist, loreal, garnier, collection concealer, beauty blogger

LA Girl is such a cheap brand but really is good quality considering their prices. The blue is an eyeliner, it's not as 'electric' as I wanted it but for under £2 who's complaining. The Berry colour is a lip liner. I have tried this on and I love it. This was £2.49 and the liner pen is super thin and I wanted to try that out for size. That was £4.

I have this concealer in the orange corrector and love it so I wanted the lightest shade concealer they do so I can place it on top of my foundation, under my eyes to create the whole light and shade thang.

Finally in this order I bought the Morphe M135 brush to blend out my shadow under my eyes. I am yet to see how this fairs but I am impressed with their other brushes so far. I think this was like £2.

I have been looking for a night cream to pop on and whilst browsing through Superdrug on Friday I found these bad boys. Both under £2 - I know right. The cream is on offer, so head in there and get it.

I needed new Micellar water and have tried all of these in the range bar this one. I wasn't keen on the blue one, the pink is currently my favourite and this one looks cool. I'll let everyone know via SM how I get on. I bought my trusty concealer as always and I actually re-purchased the L'Oreal Infallible foundation. I tried the one I had when I won their competition and fell in love and used it all. And this L'Oreal Extraordinary hair oil was on offer for £2 so I picked that up too.

The final shop I went into was Primark, I picked up a couple of things but I am waiting for the Autumn/Winter things to finally drop before I go in there fully.

I fell in love with this scarf because of the colouring. I was imagining this teamed with a long-line duster jacket, ripped jeans and boots.

If you know me, you will know I am never too far away from a hot water bottle, this is an essential for me (B12 issues) so it's always handy to have one seeing as I have no man to cuddle up to.

*Get the violins out*

I LOVE these little fairy lights!! I got them as a prop for my blog pics but right now they are on my dressing table shining bright like a copper diamond.

Come on how snazzy is this sweat. I love everything about it. Although I wish they made them longer. I really like the holographic pattern on it and the fact it's white is always great for Instagram photes... Not so much when you get makeup down it.

And breathe.... We are all done!!

How I Get Rid Of My Spots And Blemishes | Using Superdug's Skin Care Range For Sensitive Skin

highlight, skincare, superdrug, thebalm, spots, clear skin, drugstore,

Good evening ladies and gents.

It's everyone's favourite day of the week again. Monday Funday y'all.

I have had another stressful weekend as Cody (my Guinea pig) is still poorly and I have spent all my time trying to get him to eat. I had to take him back to the vets yesterday because my gut is telling me that there is something else going on. So I have told them I want him completely scanned and X-Ray'd to find out the cause of what's going on.

I pick him up tomorrow evening. I miss my fur baby.

The last few months my skin has been going cray cray and I kept getting real bad spots along my t-zone. Mainly on my chin and they aren't little small dweeby spots. Oh no... They are the massive kind of beasts that don't actually erupt from under the skin but sit under it and hurt like a bitch!!!

And as soon as I got one to go away it would come back up with its little mates at its side. They have actually scarred my skin now. I am working on getting rid of those.

I have been switching up my skin care routine until I found one that actually worked for me and one of which that would actually sort my awfully annoying skin out.

I have sensitive skin and when I am hormonal, stressed or anything freaking else I tend to break out. I NEVER used to get spots at all. That's soon caught up with me like a bad smell.

I wanted to find products that were natural, specifically for sensitive skin and not full of the fake crap that every brand seems to have right now.

I am on a budget, so I took to Superdrug to find something that I feel would be suitable for me and my lord, I have ACTUALLY found products that work and have kept my skin clear since I have been using them.

"Can I get an amen?!"

Yep, ladies and gents if you have sensitive and problem skin you NEED to use these products.

This isn't a sponsored post, it just turns out that Superdrug's own brand is freaking super good!

highlight, skincare, superdrug, thebalm, spots, clear skin, drugstore,

Wow, I look like an actual vampire in the above!

Ha ha.

superdrug, drugstore, face mask, glycolic peel, spots, budget brand,

Lits, I just wash my face with the gel cleanser and if I am going to double cleanse I will go in with the foam afterwards. And I find using this mainly is what is keeping my skin clear.

The serum I use at night and it leaves your skin super soft, and the blemish gel I use on my spots, it reduces the redness and helps them disappear. Warning though. If you have picked at your spot, do not use this straight away as it stings. Ha.

Once or twice a week I will use the face peel. I cannot say enough how much I enjoy using these products. I am aiming to get the rest of the Youthful range. LOVE IT.

I haven't been using any other skin product to clear my skin at all recently, so my lack of spots and more even and bright skin is down to Superdug's own brand.

I am totally loving it. They are purse friendly and effective.

Simply Pure wash: £2.69

Simply Foam Cleanser: £2.69

Clearly Youthful Serum: £4.89

Blemish Gel: £3.49

Glycolic Peel: £4.89

I never back anything I don't truly believe in and to me right now, these are miracle products.

You can find these all in your local Superdrug right now.

My Current Skin Care Evening Routine | My Go To Skin Products Right Now.

"eye makeup" "smokey halo" "beauty blogger" "beauty bay" "makeup geeks"

Yo yo yo.

Everyone well?

I am actually quite tired today. I have been up the last couple of nights/mornings to look after my guinea pig Cody as he's been a little poorly. When he gets like that then it's around the clock care. It's exhausting.

I have an interview tomorrow, I am really nervous. This is my 7th month not working so I am a little anxious.

I have lits watched everything on my Netflix account now. I have just finished watching Reign - which is a period drama and it was amaze. The men are hot and the lead who plays Mary (Adelaide Kane) is beautiful. I cannot wait until the 4th season is out.

Recently I have been getting breakouts, the little buggers have been having a jolly little party on my chin. They just won't go away, no matter what I do, they seem to look like they are going away but they will just pop back up. They are scaring my skin and I am not best pleased about it.

I have a morning skincare routine but never really one at night. I just take my makeup off and that's about it. Seriously ladies not taking your makeup off at night is a cardinal sin (oh gosh, I am even adopting their speech now), it kills your skin and makes you feel like crap when you wake up. Don't do it.

Since the whole chin break out thang I have decided to up my skin care game and go in hard at night. It's a good time to do it because it's when your skin is rejuvenating and repairing itself.

Below you will see my entire skin care routine and what I am currently using to keep everything tip-top.

STEP 1 - Cleanse

"miceller water" "garnier" "skin cleanse" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

This is such an obvious step and please ignore my lack of makeup and I took these pics at night, for obvious reasons. Ha. So, my first step is to take off my makeup. I don't always do a deep cleanse at night as I don't want to strip all the oils from my face. I have dry skin and that won't help. I will go in instead with my Garnier Micella water. I usually use the pink bottle but decided to give this one a go. I just get a couple of cotton pads and remove the days makeup.

When I do cleanse, I now use the Superdrug gentle cleansing wash. It's free from all the crap and is great for sensitive skin.

I miss my liz Earle 'Cleanse and Polish' but I had a reaction to it so I cannot use it anymore.

"superdrug" "budget brand" "skin cleanse" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

STEP 2 - Serum

"superdrug" "serum" "skin serum" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

Superdrug have bought out their new range of skin care products called 'Clearly Youthful', they had an offer on so I thought I would give them a go because what they claimed to do intrigued me.

"superdrug" "serum" "skin serum" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

After I have taken my makeup off I will then apply 3-4 drops of this night serum to the back of my hand and apply to my face and neck in circular motions.

This resurfacing night serum claims to even out skin tone, minimise the appearance of dark-spots and hyper-pigmentation. It's main aim is to 'visibly improve the appearance of blemishes and imperfections' with the highly concentrated formula.

This really appealed to me because I do have an uneven skin tone so I am hoping this will help.

There's so much information on the packaging, I love that and I like the fact this product has a pipette to release the product.

STEP 3 - Blemishes

"superdrug" "blemishes" "spot treatment" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

Next I will go in with Superdrug's (out of the same range as above) Blemish Treatment Gel.

Again this is highly concentrated and claims to 'visibly reduce the appearance of blemishes'. Basically I use this to treat my spots right now. This product and the above have a written timeline on the box to inform you on what to expect -  instantly, after a couple of hours and 1-4 weeks. It's really useful. The only thing I don't like about this packaging is the fact it has a pump dispenser which means too much product comes out of it.

"superdrug" "blemishes" "spot treatment" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

I apply a thin layer of this on each and every spot or blemish to try and reduce the effects.

STEP 4 - Eyes

"simple skin care" "eye cream" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

I was lacking in the eye creams... Well I have none. I needed a nice eye cream to sooth my eye area as I work on my eyes a lot and they do get sore from rubbing the makeup off.

I love Simple as a brand and I use their face cream daily, I have sensitive skin and I can react to things. I know with Simple everything is natural so less risk of a reaction.

This one is a soothing eye balm, which soothes and nurtures, reduces puffiness and winds down and relaxes the eye. I just pat this around my under eyes until the product has sunk in and then around the top of my eyes. I use this in the day too.

"simple skin care" "eye cream" "skin care" "skin product" "makeup"

STEP 5 - Lips pt 1

"kiko" "lip scrub" "lip care" "lip balm" "makeup" "evening routine"

Lips are next, this is one of my main problem areas, they are SO dry and the skin builds up on them, when I am nervous I pick my lips so that doesn't help.

I went into Kiko months back now... Actually not long after the new year. I found their night balm and lip scrub which is in stick form.

I use the lip scrub first, it basically looks like a lipstick only with lip scrub in it. Handy much. The only thing with this is, it goes down pretty quickly. I use this sparingly as I don't want it to run out. I then use the balm after I have rubbed the scrub off.

I really do use a lot of products on my lips as they currently need the most help.

"kiko" "lip scrub" "lip care" "lip balm" "makeup" "evening routine"

STEP 6 - Lips pt 2

"barry m" "lip oil" "lip care" "lip balm" "makeup" "evening routine"

I recently bought the Barry M lip oil. It's new to their range and I bought the coconut one as it's clear. They have two in the range.

I apply this on top of the Kiko balm.

"barry m" "lip oil" "lip care" "lip balm" "makeup" "evening routine"

STEP 7 - Lips pt 3

"blistex" "lip cream" "lip care" "lip balm" "makeup" "evening routine"

Finally, I apply the Blistex 'Intensive Moisture' cream balm to my lips. I LOVE this stuff, I was watching Amy's Makeup Box's video on YouTube and she mentioned that she uses this and it works a treat on dry lips.

She wasn't wrong, it's improved the condition of my lips a lot.

Thanks Amy *kisses*.

Another Haul | Best Of The High Street Brands

Evening amigos

Today I have been trying to get my life in order... I would say that ended up not so successful. I have now started ringing round for jobs, has it really come to this?!

I have been learning how to use Photoshop today and I am slowly getting there, I have downloaded a free trial of Creative Cloud and I love it. The thing is it only lasts for 7 days and I need to find a serial number crack so I can use it forever because there is no way I can afford to buy it.

If anyone could help me I would be extremely grateful?!

I popped into New Look, Boots and Superdrug on Friday and bought some things.

OMG New Look have some amazing things in at the moment and an awesome sale on right now too.

I had a drama in the changing rooms though. Ha ha.

I was trying on some black dungaree's which were in the sale. Could I get them over my thighs? NO WAY IN HELL. They were a size 10 so were big enough and I finally figured out why when I was trying to force my legs out of them... They were from the petite section.

*face palm*

I really struggled to get them off. I totally had a Ross from Friends moment with the leather pants.

Here are the few things I bought and the item below is totally my favourite and such a steal.

New Look you did good man!!

I am SO IN LOVE with this bomber jacket. I have been searching for one for ages and wanted a black one. This was hanging in the 'sale' section but was still marked as full price. I held on to it to try on. It's a size 12 which I liked as it was slightly oversized. I was sold whether it was in the sale or not.

C'mon guys... How freaking awesome is this jacket.

It is super sparkly with the sequins and it lits goes with everything.

It was in the sale too. I checked when I went to the till and she was like "yep, it's £15 - do you want it?"

Errrr do I want it. HELL YEAH. MINE.

This piece from New Look is beautiful... It's rare that I find something that really catches my eye. This one however is really unique and goes so well with an all black outfit. It really stands out.

This was also in the sale for £5.

Okay, so the story with these is a short one. I originally had the Real Techniques 301 Contour brush and I used it twice and the head came off. Grr.

I emailed the company to inform them and to get a replacement. For some reason their site is a .com so it would have to be shipped over to me. I though Real Techniques were a British brand... Sam and Nic are British aren't they?

Anyway, they offered me a $20 code to replace the brush which means I would have to add money to it, pay for shipping and customs for a faulty product. No way mate.

I then took it to Boots as that's where I originally bought it from and the lady was so lovely and replaced it for me for the two brushes above. I didn't trust the manufacturing of the contour so chose not to re-purchase.

I finally got my hands on these Vagas Nay lashes. I cannot wait to use these in my next makeup look.

Lets hope she notices that I have used them.

Life would be made. Ha.

This was a short haul, but seriously if you haven't been to the New Look sale yet, you need to before it ends. They have some super cool things on sale and I love the brand A LOT so buying their stuff is always a winner for me.
