Oh hiiii!!!

Guess who's back... Back again... Leya's back... Tell yo friends!!

(Now I have that freaking song in my head)

It's the beginning of a fresh new week and a new set of goals. All mine are failing miserably right now. We wont even touch on that subject.

My brother has pizza right now and I WANT ONE!! I had god damn lettuce leaves, yes, leaves. I would of had one if I hadn't of eaten crap all day. I cannot wait for Autumn so I can exercise again properly. In this muggy little heat I cannot function let alone rip my muscles to shreds. Ha.

You guys should know me by now... I am an addict.

My name is Leya and I am addicted to makeup and just shopping in general.

Now, I am not one of those who has to be shopping all the time, I just like picking things up that I genuinely need or it has caught my eye for one reason or another.

Beauty Bay is quickly becoming my new found favourite addiction. There's free shipping over £15 and they stock a lot of the American products that aren't readily available in the UK.

My favourite brands are particularly Morphe, Makeup Geek and LA Girl. There are so many more brands I want to try though. I REALLY want the ABH Moonchild Glow Kit but you can't get it here and it's limited edition. Just like me. :D

You can find the link to Beauty Bay on my page, go spend your money. You won't regret it. This is my third order.

As it is so simply put in the title of this post, you know it's a haul. This time it is a collective as I have bought some other bits and bobs too from other stores. I visited Superdrug and good old Primark. I didn't go OTT, I was pretty stable.

I have decided to post this haul because everything I bought is extremely affordable and easily accessible!!

Lets GO!!

Yes you can see correctly!! I FINALLY got one of the most sort after palettes there is and that's the Morphe 350M. If you read my previous posts you would of known that I had tried for months and months to get my hands on the original 350 palette but it sold out soooo quickly. It's like everyone inhaled it. I never stood a chance. SO, when Beauty Bay warned us the complete matte version was coming out the next day I was on that shit man. I set my alarm to wake up extra early (I am sad, I don't give any carebares) so I could clean Cody (my Guinea pig) out and at least brush my teeth.

I got it!! YAS!!! I love working with matte makeup, especially eyeshadows' so this palette is perfect for me. The tones are incredible and 100% my style and I cannot wait to use it.

This is everything I bought in my Beauty Bay haul. I have a thaaang for LA Girl too right now, as mentioned and also Makeup Geek. I bought the empty Morphe Palette to put all my single pans in. This beauty was just a little over £5, which is hella amazing as it fits the MG pans in perfectly. I need three more pans to complete my palette (which is magnetic) and I now want, Corrupt, Shimma Shimma and Morocco (all MG).

collective haul, haul, makeup, beauty bay, primark, superdrug, la girl, morphe brushes, 350, 350m, makeup geek, makeup artist, loreal, garnier, collection concealer, beauty blogger

This empty pallet is a complete steal at over £5 compared to how much the Z palettes are. I am sooo happy with this and it's super cute!

In all its glory, the 350M palette. Forget look at "that glow though". Look at those tones though. They are so Autumnal, it's me in a freaking palette guys! This was just over £19.

collective haul, haul, makeup, beauty bay, primark, superdrug, la girl, morphe brushes, 350, 350m, makeup geek, makeup artist, loreal, garnier, collection concealer, beauty blogger

MG - Chickadee, Morphe - Blackberry.

The Makeup Geek is just under £5 and the Morphe one is a barg at just under £2.

Can I get a "hell yeah"!

collective haul, haul, makeup, beauty bay, primark, superdrug, la girl, morphe brushes, 350, 350m, makeup geek, makeup artist, loreal, garnier, collection concealer, beauty blogger

LA Girl is such a cheap brand but really is good quality considering their prices. The blue is an eyeliner, it's not as 'electric' as I wanted it but for under £2 who's complaining. The Berry colour is a lip liner. I have tried this on and I love it. This was £2.49 and the liner pen is super thin and I wanted to try that out for size. That was £4.

I have this concealer in the orange corrector and love it so I wanted the lightest shade concealer they do so I can place it on top of my foundation, under my eyes to create the whole light and shade thang.

Finally in this order I bought the Morphe M135 brush to blend out my shadow under my eyes. I am yet to see how this fairs but I am impressed with their other brushes so far. I think this was like £2.

I have been looking for a night cream to pop on and whilst browsing through Superdrug on Friday I found these bad boys. Both under £2 - I know right. The cream is on offer, so head in there and get it.

I needed new Micellar water and have tried all of these in the range bar this one. I wasn't keen on the blue one, the pink is currently my favourite and this one looks cool. I'll let everyone know via SM how I get on. I bought my trusty concealer as always and I actually re-purchased the L'Oreal Infallible foundation. I tried the one I had when I won their competition and fell in love and used it all. And this L'Oreal Extraordinary hair oil was on offer for £2 so I picked that up too.

The final shop I went into was Primark, I picked up a couple of things but I am waiting for the Autumn/Winter things to finally drop before I go in there fully.

I fell in love with this scarf because of the colouring. I was imagining this teamed with a long-line duster jacket, ripped jeans and boots.

If you know me, you will know I am never too far away from a hot water bottle, this is an essential for me (B12 issues) so it's always handy to have one seeing as I have no man to cuddle up to.

I LOVE these little fairy lights!! I got them as a prop for my blog pics but right now they are on my dressing table shining bright like a copper diamond.

Come on how snazzy is this sweat. I love everything about it. Although I wish they made them longer. I really like the holographic pattern on it and the fact it's white is always great for Instagram photes... Not so much when you get makeup down it.

And breathe.... We are all done!!

New L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity Mask And Facial Cleansing Oil | First Impressions Review | Are They Worth The Hype?

loreal, loreal paris, cleansing oil, drugstore, boots, clay mask, purity mask, skin care,

Hey guys!

So it's freaking August, I cannot believe it... And I still don't have a job 8 months later. Seriously, thank goodness I saved.

Oh and it's my birthday on Sunday (7th) :)

My mum told me that everything happens for a reason and right now I see the reason I don't have a job.

My Guinea pig Cody has been life threateningly ill and it lits has been touch and go. A lot of tears, anxiety, panic attacks and sleepless nights. He had to go back to the vets as it seemed as he couldn't eat, long story short, his pneumonia progressed, whilst taking bloods Cody actually stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated so they couldn't check his teeth or X Ray him.

I brought him home because I knew no one could care for him like I could and if he decided to give up the fight at least he would be comfortable at home.

He lost a lot of weight, so I have been up constantly throughout the early hours of the morning feeding him every 4 hours all day.

I am exhausted, I am not going to lie but I am hoping all my care will be worth it in the end.

And this is where I see the fact I am still job searching as a positive as Cody would of sure passed away as I wouldn't of been around as much.

This is why on Thursday there was no post as I was soooo tired.

I am back today though with a brand new post for you and something in which I hope you enjoy.

Lets GO!!!

As mentioned above, I have literally had no time for myself properly so, when I managed to grab some time on Saturday to go food shopping quickly, I popped into Boots looking for a couple of things in particular.

I have really gotten into my skin care routine recently as I am trying to keep my breakouts at bay and currently what I am using is really working for me.

I have seen people rave about the new L'Oreal clay masks. They have 3 in the range.

1. Pure Clay Glow Mask
2. Pure Clay Detox Mask
3. Pure Clay Purity Mask

Each of them obviously do different things. I really wanted the Dextox mask as it was charcoal based and I thought it would be amazing on my skin. It's sold out EVERYWHERE!!

I ended up purchasing the Purity mask as to me that was the next best thing at drawing out impurities in my skin.

I also noticed their Extaordinary Oil - Facial Cleansing Oil too, I don't actually know if it is new in their range but it caught my eye as I wanted something different to take my makeup off.

loreal, loreal paris, cleansing oil, drugstore, boots, clay mask, purity mask, skin care,

The masks are currently on offer in Boots for £5 and the cleansing oil was a little over £5. I had just over £10 of points on my Boots card so I used those to get these items. I also feel like the masks are exclusive to Boots as I cannot find a trace of them in Superdrug which is a little odd as I thought they would be everywhere.

loreal, loreal paris, cleansing oil, drugstore, boots, clay mask, purity mask, skin care,

I decided to use the cleaning oil yesterday morning as the night before I used my Garnier Micella water (the blue one) and I felt it didn't remove my makeup properly like the pink version so when I woke up I wanted to use the oil to remove the excess makeup and then double cleanse with my usual wash.

What I do like about the packaging is that it comes with a pump, there is nothing more annoying than getting a product and it either doesn't come with a nozzle or it's a spritz one. The pump dispenses the product in good manner so you don't end up with too much or too little.

It glides onto your face super smoothly, it smells really nice and it's for all skin types. It can been used all over the face, eyes and lips. Pretty standard.

L'Oreal claims that this product -'instantly removes all traces of makeup, even waterproof' and the 'skin is left cleansed and nourished with a non-greasy feel'.

I will be honest with you... I actually quite like this product, it does what it claims to do and it's great as your face doesn't feel heavy afterwards, it left my face prepped for the second cleanse and it felt lightweight, fresh and awake. I will be adding this in to my routine for now on. :)

It's simple to use too. Put 2-3 drops (I used 2) onto a dry face and massage in. Then you wash off with water. Super simple.

I would like to see how this works with a full face of makeup, so I will be giving that a whirl.

Good job L'Oreal!

loreal, loreal paris, cleansing oil, drugstore, boots, clay mask, purity mask, skin care,

After I used the cleansing oil I then dried my face off, had a bath and then popped the mask on.

You apply this again onto dry skin, duh, and avoid the eyes and mouth area.

The consistency of this product is soooooo frickin lovely, it's creamy, luxurious and a little goes a long way. I love the simplicity of the packaging and even without the discount it's a well priced product.

Okay, so, the purity mask is 50ml and states 10 applications worth of product. I feel I would actually get more out of it. I have a fat head too, nothing like some pea heads out there ( I wish I had a pea head) - all you pea heads, it should last even longer for you.

It has 3 different pure clay's and Eucalyptus and you can really smell that when applying. It's a really refreshing, spa like smell.

The clay's used are...

Koalin - 'a highly effective natural clay, known to absorb impurities and excess sebum', which I have a lot of on my nose. You could see it drawing the nastiness out of my skin as the mask started to bubble on my nose.

Montmorillonite - 'rich in minerals, a clay recognised for helping to eliminate imperfections'. No one is perfect right?

Ghassoul - 'A pure clay highly concentrated in minerals renowned to help clarify complextion'.

This mask claims that it 'purifies' and 'mattifies' your skin and it gives a little list of what to expect in the means of results.

Immediately - skin is fresh, clean and purified.

Use for one week - skin looks mattified, cleaner and softer.

Use after use - skin can breathe, is visibly transformed.

Bold claims from L'oreal but I genuinely believe in them.

After removing the dried mask I noticed my skin seemed a little brighter, reeeeaally soft and not so clogged.

You know what I mean? It just felt lighter.

The directions of use is to apply 2-3 times a week and leave on for 5-10 minutes each time, I did 10 minutes.

loreal, loreal paris, cleansing oil, drugstore, boots, clay mask, purity mask, skin care,

I feel these masks are like freaking Pokemon.

"You gotta catch them all". Ha.

I really want the other two now that I have tried this one. And if in the end it turns out to be a gimmick, hell, my skin feels great anyway.

I would highly recommend the mask fo'sure and I would suggest you go out and buy them before they all sell out completely.

As for the oil, I really like the product, as stated, I need to try this on a full face of makeup to see if it works just as good. I will have to let you know on that one.

I hope you liked this post and if so, feel free to follow my ramblings over here on Bloglovin'.

My last post was about how I get rid of my spots and was really popular. You can find it here as part of my skin care series.

Primark, Lush & Superdrug Haul // Autumn Style!!!

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Evening!!!

I am sooooo sorry that I haven't written a post in over a week. I have been super busy with my new job and it has left me exhausted. Today however, I made it my mission to get everything I needed to get done in the morning so I had some "me" time this evening.

You will like to know though that this weekend I couldn't help but buy myself some treats.

I think I have deserved it!!!

I was after a couple of things that I had made a mental note of during the week and made it my mission to find them.

I LOVE this time of year, I used to be a Summer lover but as time has passed I am really into Autumn especially and Winter. This season means lots of hot chocolate's (with squirty cream), beautifully scented candles, hot water bottles, long hot bubble baths. Halloween, Hocus Pocus ( I am watching it now) cosy bed days, crunchy autumn leaf walks, layering, Bonfire night, darker makeup & CHRISTMAS!!

With this in mind I took a little visit into Lush, Primark and Superdrug.

I will start with my FAVOURITE place EVER...

LUSH

Lush have brought out their long awaited Halloween and Christmas range. I have been super excited for this day for weeks now and I made it my task to buy some of it.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I am not kidding you their new products are AMAZING. I love all of Lush's stuff anyway but I am a massive Halloween and Christmas enthusiast and I wanted it ALL. I was like a child in a sweet shop. I will be buying so much more next weekend, it's inevitable. Ha.

Want to see what I bought?

I thought so :)

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I went for two Halloween and two Christmas ones.
I really want the Santa one's, the purple stick and the silver star.

Next time.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

This one is the 'Christmas Eve' Bubble Bar and you guessed it, I will be using this exactly on Christmas Eve with my new Yankee (Christmas tree smelling) candle. I love the colours & the smell and I cannot wait to use this. It gets me really excited for Christmas now.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Hello there 'Candy Mountain' this was the last one left of these Bubble Bars and I snagged that right up. It does literally smell of candy, I could sniff it all day long. It's really girly and I bet it creates the most gorgeous bubbles!!

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

This is the 'Cinders' Bath Bomb and I am super excited to try this as it contains popping candy, cinnamon leaf oil ( I am a sucker for warming cinnamon smells) and is perfect for those cold Autumn nights leading up to Halloween.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

WOW!!! This Bubble Bar is beautiful!!

The 'Sparkly Pumpkin' is 100% going to be used on Halloween night!!! I got told the glitter won't leave me like Edward Cullen which I am quite happy about and it smells lovely.

I cannot wait to use this either.

SO HAPPY!!!

When describing all the things I love about this season cosy jumpers hats, PJ's & accessories are a fashion must have and I picked up some cuties from Primark.

I love this look and you can never go wrong with a bit of black and white. Monochrome is totally in this winter and you can mix it in with some berry colours to make your outfit extra Autumn looking.

I do love my makeup and I buy a lot of it. I saw an advert on the television the other night advertising Loréal's new red, matte lipstick range. I spotted a shade I really liked and I only wear matte so I had to go and see what these were about.

I am loving earthy tones on my eyes at the moment so I wanted to try a cream eyeshadow and the Maybelline one is in a really nice shade. I have never worked with cream shadow before so I will see how it goes and I really liked the brown eyeliner, it compliments the shadow and my blue eyes.

So that's it ladies and gents.

I hope you liked what I bought this weekend and that some of it has caught your eye for you to buy yourself?

Let me know what you think.
