Fishtail Braid.// Tutorial In Pictures.

Hellooooo Ladies!! 

I finally learnt how to do a fishtail braid the other day and I was so proud of myself. I attempted to do it a few months ago and it went severely wrong. I thought it seemed really hard when I first gave it a go, but trust me once you have tried it a few times it's actually super simple. 

I understand it would be much better to watch this on a video so if you would like me to do a tutorial on my YouTube channel then let me know. Today I will placing step-by-step photo's of how to create this look. I had to do it on my web camera as I didn't have anyone to take the photo's for me so excuse the quality. 

Hopefully through following these easy steps you will be able to create this braid yourselves in no time. 

Here we go. 

Firstly, you will need to comb/brush your hair through to ensure your hair is knot free. You will thank me after :). 

I used a Tangle Teezer to get my bad boy knots out and there were a lot of them. 

Next I would give the roots a little back comb. I don't have to explain the process, y'all know how to do it. 

Then you will need to pull all your hair to one side and divide it into two sections as shown. 

Whilst holding on to both sections, take a small section from underneath of one of the sections.

Then pull the underneath piece of hair to the front of the other section.

Like so. 

Then repeat from the other side. So Again from the opposite side this time pull an underneath section.

Then pull it across to the front of the opposite side. 

This is what you should now have. Like an 'x' shape.

And then keep repeating the process until you have reached the end of your hair. 

This is how it should be looking as you're going through your hair. 

And this is how the finished product should look.

:) 

Pull the sections out a little so the braid isn't so tightly plaited. And voilà.

•   I am 26 (27 on the 7th August), some of you may already know this but a lot of people that don't know my age actually think I am around 18-20. Without makeup I look about 10. One Chinese lady said to me once " you have magical powers". Too funny.

• I LOVE curry & hot food. Most of my food has to have chilli added to it. I have to have my food with a kick, whether that is in a salad on in baked beans, chilli is a must. I am the curry queen, I love the stuff and my favourite restaurant so far is in Worcester.

•  I am a singer/performer and I have appeared on the X Factor (UK)and I have been an extra in Skins 3 & 4 (for those of you who don't know what this programme is, it's a teenage drama series and it's awesome.) 

• I am a massive animal lover and will do anything for an animals' welfare. I rescue animals if I see them injured and I have a few pets myself (Cody my poorly Guinea Pig, Darla & Keiko my Chinese Dwarf Hamsters and Bear (real name is Saffi my Yorkshire Terrier). 

• My idol is Michael Jackson, he always has and always will be my idol. He is a genius, the master of music and the greatest man to ever live in my eyes. R.I.P.

• I am a big believer in the Illuminati & conspiracy theories. I believe in the New World order and the Mayan Prophecies, it really interests me and it's so fascinating.

• I am a hoarder when it comes to shopping. I buy new things and keep it in the bags for weeks until I decide to put it away. Usually by then I have forgotten what I have brought and get excited all over again.

• My favourite colour is red.

• I have a double jointed thumb. 

• I have met Adam Lambert (American readers will know who he is)! 

• My favourite band EVER is Placebo, oh my, I couldn't even begin to say how much I love them. I have been an avid fan for almost 10 years.

• My biggest crush is on Brian Molko (Placebo's hot lead singer, he's not everyone's cup of cha but for me he is IT)! 

• My first car was a silver Corsa called Rusty. Go figure. 

• I hallucinate often when dreaming, I will be semi-awake and semi-asleep and I wake up in the dream still but in the real world thinking it's happening. It usually involves spiders, where I hallucinate that they are on my walls. 

• I have a massive fear of spiders, flying, sunbeds, lifts and being involved in a car crash. 

• I am a nervous passenger in the car. 

• My favourite actor is John Travolta.

• My favourite actress is Sandra Bullock. 

• I have a girl crush on Kristen Stewart & Lana Del Rey.

• I would love to marry Brian Molko(obviously). I am still waiting for the proposal. Any day soon!! Ha.  

• My favourite film of all time is Labyrinth.

• I am a natural blonde. 

• I bruise really easily. One tap on my leg and a big, purple bruise will appear.

• The sound of a glass nail file on nails makes me cringe.

• I suffer with anxiety which I have learn't to control. 

• I get real bad stage fright and get real nervous before I go on stage. When I am up there though I am fine. 

• I love writing lists and have a million note books.

• I wish I lived in Hogwarts and was friends with Hazza Potter. 

• Fall & Winter have rapidly become my favourite time of the year thanks to my hay fever.

My "Holy Grail" Eyeshadow Palette // The Ultimate Box of Tricks for Your Eyes!

Helloooooo!!

I have decided to do a not so long (written) blog post like I usually do today, just to mix it up a little. I don't want to become too predictable now do I?! ;) 

I touched upon this product in my previous post which you can link to HERE. 
And I spoke about this product favourably in the 'eye' section, and how I am currently using it to create my smoky eye look. It is my holy grail of shadows at the mo.

It is a product made by the 'Front Cover' Brand and it is an awesome box full of super cool tools to make your eyes stand out beautifully. The box of tricks is called 'A Billion Stars' and after doing some research I cannot find this box anywhere on their website (www.frontcovercosmetics.com) as when you click the 'shop' button it comes up with an error message. 
Odd...
But you can pick it up on places like Ebay until the site is back up and running again. I did purchase mine a few years back now and it is still my favourite eyeshadow palette to use to date. 

This is what you get. 

As you can see there is no palette in there. 
Well, that's because I am using it and it's in my hand bag as I type. AND the palette has a mirror inside. Score!

It also comes with a makeup artists tips and  step by step photographic instructions to "let you achieve studio finish make-up". This is such a good idea, especially for beginners who are just starting out and experimenting with eye makeup.
