Rose Gold & Copper Haul | Budget Homeware And Accessories.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Ohhhhh hiiiiiiii!!!

Are we all well? I hope so and that everyone is in good health?!

Now, I hit Twitter up with a poll to find out what you guys wanted my next post to be, from a choice of four possibilities.

This one, as you can see made the cut and this is what you wanted next, I listened to the demand because I am a good egg like that and  so Bob's your Uncle.

I am a sucker for anything rose gold or copper and as mentioned in previous posts this statement has occurred a number of times.

I am literally a freak when it comes to it, I think it's becoming an unhealthy addiction. I am like a fly on shit when I see some rose gold/copper shining at me from across the yonder. I am over to that said item quicker than Usain Bolt. Period.

Not great when you're in-between jobs because my bank account is SCREAMING AT ME... Literally screaming "you douche bag can't you give me a freaking break?!"

Sorry love, when it comes to this I can not! Ha.

I will regret saying that soon.

So my little peas, I have scratched around my room and collated all of my rose gold/copper pieces together to show you that you don't have to spend a lot to change the style of your room or life.

All of what you're going to see is at budget prices but looks more expensive than it is. I am a stickler for that and pride myself on my great finds. These are just little accents that I have bought to my room/life to compliment the white and the accessories... Well they were a necessity. ;)

Don't forget to comment if you have something I could get my hands on *covers eyes* and don't forget to subscribe to my blog here

M.A.C. Matte Must Have Lipsticks | My Collection.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Heeellooo my lovely little lollipops!!!
(A bit of alliteration there. Ha.)

I hope y'all are peachy perfect for a Monday?

I have an exciting blog post coming up soon which I cannot wait to write. Some of you might hazard a guess from my Twitter & Instagram posts (both 'leluroxxblogger')but I am quite excited.

Annnnyyywaaaayy...

Who doesn't love MAC Cosmetics? Who doesn't just love walking up to that freaking MAC counter and all the epicness just hits you in your mush to the point of almost collapse because it's all so BEAUTIFUL?

I'm not going to lie. I LAAAAVVVV it.

I have only ever bought lip products from the brand but there are A LOT of other items I want now, like the pigments, paint pots and of course more lippies!! Let me know if you guys have any awesome recommendations because I am heading their way soon.

I thought today I would give you my MAC matte lipstick must-haves that I have in my collection. I only wear matte lipsticks and these are some of the best I have currently tried and owned.

Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of these and what you think and don't forget recommendations.

You can subscribe to this blog here.

I love the consistency of their matte formula's. I over draw my top lip slightly to make it more even with my bottom lip and I find matte lipsticks are the best for this. I also have the lip liners to go with these shades.

I use 'Cherry' to go with 'Ruby Woo' although there is now an exact lip liner that matches the red. I just need the 'Whirl' lipstick now to match the liner. I find it important to line the lip before applying lipstick.

My trick for making my lipstick stay put longer is to use concealer on the lips first, then apply some matte finishing powder, I then line the lip and fill the lip in with the liner. Finally I apply the matching lippy and more matte powder to complete the style.

Side note | Please try to ignore the state of my lips they constantly go through dry phases so I know they look less than perfect right now. Basically it looks like someone has attacked them with freaking sandpaper. *Covers eyes and mouth*.

Ruby Woo Lipstick and Cherry Liner

These are my must have mattes currently. Personally I think 'Diva' could be a little more matte as there is still a sheen coming off it. Other than that my every day essential matte is my 'Honeylove' lipstick and my night must have is 'Ruby Woo'.

Let me know which one is your favourite!!

Over and out.

10/4.

Artis Professional Oval Brush Dupe | First Impressions.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Evvveeenninnggg ladies and gents.

Y'all good? I am having a great week (makes a change), still job searching though (which hasn't changed). Ha.

Being the makeup addict that I am, I cannot resist buying new bits and bobs to try out, I get so excited. The little things ay!

I save just as much as I spend, so I am pretty good with money. Obviously, right now I am being careful with what I am spending for clear reasons. However, I was reading LoveLaughsLipstick's tweet and she mentioned a dupe for the Artis brushes that are currently taking over the country by storm. She had bought a dupe brush off Ebay to see if it was any good. I totally jumped on the bandwaggon and I am not ashamed to admit it. Ha. She kindly passed me the link and I ordered one.

Now, if you are not quite sure what I am talking about it's those weird looking brushes that look like something you would brush your dog with which are oval, with a long handle on them. You may have seem girls using them in tutorials on Instagram where they are literally brushing their face with this thing. As odd as it sounded and looked I really wanted to try the Artis brushes.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

These Artis brushes aren't on the cheap side let me tell you and they are obviously highly priced because they are freaking amazing. Well they better be anyway I would want to come out looking like freaking Kendall Jenner!!

They look amazing anyway and the makeup looks airbrushed it's blended so well.

I picked up my brush on Ebay from a UK company, it's unbranded and it cost me £2. It's not breaking the bank so if it was utterly useless I wouldn't need to cry myself to sleep at night.

It arrived, it was a lot smaller than I thought, the picture made it look a lot bigger and it said it was for use with foundation.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

Time to test it, I applied my foundation and then attacked my face with this contraption. The brush is pretty dense and it felt really strange rubbing it around my face, I wasn't really sure how to use it either. I was just rubbing my foundation in, in a bout of circular motions. Ha.

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I am going to be completely honest. I didn't like how it transferred my foundation at all. For me, it picked up more product than it actually left on my face. It applied pretty evenly considering but I did notice little patches on my checks where it looked as if I had wiped the makeup off. It didn't leave me with my usual matte finish that I get with my expert face brush and didn't seem as seamless. My foundation also looked like it had oxidised a lot too. coincidence maybe?

leluroxx.blogspot.co.uk

I need my dark circles covered and it can be hard to do so, this didn't help matters as you kind of sweep the brush over that area.

For foundation it was a no, no. Fo'sure.

It blended my concealer in around my chin fine, not so much around my eyes but it did blend my cream contour in nicely, so if anything I will be using it for that.

I think out of it all it has really intrigued me to try the Artis brushes. I want to see what all the hype is about properly.

For £2 you can't grumble but I think I was expecting better results. A girl can dream. Ha.

I hope you enjoyed my first impressions on this brush and it might help you make your own decision on whether to buy it or not.

Don't forget to give me a follow here if you liked this post.
