Beauty Bay Haul & Experience | FT Morphe, Zoeva, Lit Cosmetics, Makeup Geek & LA Girl

Evening beauties!! 

I hope y'all are fine and dandy. 

I am a little fed up today. Ha. 

Trying to stay positive though as good things come to those who wait and all that. :) 

Yeah right! Ha, does anyone ever believe that?!

Is anyone in the UK suffering with this disgusting, muggy heat that we are experiencing at night?! 4 nights in a row now I haven't been able to sleep because of the suffocating warmth. Literally it has gotten to the point where you have removed every item of clothing and you're contemplating taking your skin off as well. 

Ha. 

I JUST WANT TO SLEEP DAMN IT.

I have been back and forth on whether I should order from Beauty Bay for a while now, if you don't know they are an online beauty retailer who stocks a lot of items in which you can't always get in the UK. I had placed many things in my basket but being jobless at the moment they kind of stayed there. I recently sold a lot of new makeup that I had and wasn't going to use so I thought I would buy the things in my basket at some point. I was in no rush.

I saw on Twitter that they were having a buy one get one free offer on the Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans and I was on that shit like a kid on cake. I was there. 

They were selling out MEGA QUICK but I managed to get the pans I wanted bar 2 which were - Creme Brulee and Roulette and I think there was actually a foiled one that disappeared too. They all ended up being half price because I think the day before the BOGOF offer wasn't working for people. 

I ordered 5 of the Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans, one of the Morphe pans, the rose gold Zoeva eye brush set, the Morphe 35B palette and blending crease brush, Lit Cosmetics glitter kit and LA Girls HD lose powder to bake with. I got a free gift with that too. 

I had to order the Morphe palette and brush separately as I was trying to keep my order to £100 but I put the others on my credit card. 

Whoops. 

My order went through and I went off to the Busted gig and didn't think about it again... Until I hit social media that is. 

EVERYONE was kicking off about the Makeup Geek offer, I mean everyone. I wasn't too bothered as I got some that I wanted. Now what put the fear of God into me was that everyone was complaining that they hadn't received shipping confirmation for their next day deliveries. I hadn't either. 

I did panic a bit because some people were getting theirs the next day and mine still kept saying 'processing'. I ordered on the Saturday, I phoned them on the Monday as my order statuses hadn't changed at all. I was told I would receive my things on Tuesday. 

I was cool with that. 

I do think however the problem was the lack of communication from Beauty Bay in regards to deliveries and confirmations as I wouldn't of been worried if it wasn't for everyone else. It did put me off. 

I did feel for Beauty Bay though because everyone was kicking off at them and I don't think they realised how popular Makeup Geek was and a lot of people tried order but the site wouldn't let them and then they sold out. 

I am sure it will all be sorted. 

I was so excited when my parcels came on Tuesday and this is what I bought. 

A lot of the items were on my b'day wishlist in which I posted the other week.

I cannot wait to use this pallet. I think I may do so tomorrow!! I love bright colours on the eyes A LOT!!! I want the much sort after 350 palette when it comes back into stock. 

If it ever does that is! 

I have wanted these brushes for years now and have always been on a wishlist of some sort. So, seeing as I never got them I bought them as an early birthday present from me to me. 

Ha. As you do. 

I thought I would see what all the hype was about with the Makeup Geek shadows. Can't wait to use these either! From top left to bottom right; Duochrome - Backlight, Peach Smoothie, foiled - Starry Eyed, Cocoa Bear and Bitten. I also got a single Morphe eyeshadow pan too.  

 And there you have it. My quite expensive haul. 

I cannot wait to start using it all. Had to wait so I could take the pics for this post. 

It has killed me!! Ha.

Busted Pigs Can Fly Tour | My Two Night Stand With The Busted Boys | They're On Fire!

Hellooooooo!!! Welcome back. 

These weeks are going SO quickly right now, it's cray cray (yep I just used that wording. Forgive me. Ha.)

The weather in the UK is also crazy right now, it's so freaking hot!! I can never regulate my body temperature, I am either too cold or too hot. Right now I am soooo hot I feel like I am melting from the inside out!! 

Woaaahhh man!! Just think of the episode of Friends when the boiler broke at their Christmas party. Yep that's how I am currently. 

Now onto the good stuff!!! 

Y'all know that Busted are BACK!!!! 

If you don't.... Just get out. 

Now, lets paint the picture... I was what 16-17 when I was into Busted. I am almost 29 now and my love for the boys never vanished along with their quitting of the band. 

I was totally smitten with Matt when I first heard their first song 'What I go to school for'. Then it switched to James then Charlie (in Fightstar). Now after seeing them all these years later... They are all freaking equally hot. They have done a good job of ageing!! 

But none of them are single!! "Booo". Ha.

Well played! 

I follow their accounts on Twitter, so when I saw that they were making a comeback after performing with McFly as McBusted in the previous months I freaked out!! 

Lits freaked out!! They were god damn touring!!!

I never got to see them when I was younger so I had to take this chance and go!! I bought the tickets back in Jan I think and the other week I went to their first concert. 

I got seats in the upper tiers, now I prefer to be right at the front of gigs because of my passion for taking awesome gig pics to capture certain moments. At this point I was just happy I was there. 

OMFG. 

It was AMAZING!!! I am not even exaggerating... IT WAS AWESOME!! 

The atmosphere was electric and in a weird way slightly emotional because after 12 years they were back and better than ever. They had new material too which I LOVE. And since then I have learnt that they are bringing out a new album in 2016. I am so happy and I will be the first to buy it! 

The way the tour has been set up is fantastic. Such thought had gone into the staging, dramatics and everything about it was exciting.

The tour is obviously called 'Pigs Can Fly' and there was this huge light up pig floating around the arena. Loved it. 

Wheatus and Emma Blackberry were support and they were great too. 

Leading up to Busted actually coming on stage the lights would flicker and so would the video footage on stage. This was one of my favourite parts. It built up the momentum. 

When the concert actually started the video footage would come on with this music theme that gave me goosebumps. The music arrangement to the lead up made it all so dramatic, I literally could of cried. History in the making for me. The screen shot to Matt, James and Charlie taking their pig masks off and then it went dark and the curtains fell to reveal the 'Pig Sty' on stage with fans (they had bought seperate tickets to be there) and their pig masks staring out at us. Just writing this is giving me goosebumps.

The crowd went wild, me included and then the boys came out of trap doors straight in front of their mics. 

They stood still. 

I lost my voice. Ha. 

And so it began! 

They started with their new song 'Coming Home' and I loved it.

 The energy was soul grabbing. I don't think I ever got it back. Ha. They played a whole lot of their old stuff which was amazing because they listened to the fans on Twitter when they asked what we wanted to hear and their new songs are really catchy and have some great hooks. 

When they sang 'Sleeping With The Lights On' the whole place went dark and each and everyone of us in that stadium had their phone lights on and were waving them the the beat of the song. 

This was magical and for me the pinnacle of the whole concert. It just showed a whole lot of love for the boys and that even though they have been out of the game for 12 years it's made no difference to the dedication we all have for the band. 

I didn't want the concert to end. 

Obviously it did and I was a mixture of happy and sad because I wanted to see them again!

Oh yeah...

I DID!!! 

That's right, they were THAT good I had to do it. 

They were going to the Barclay Card Arena in Birmingham and I tweeted to say I was really tempted to go. That's when Charlie tweeted me and said "do it". 

So I did! Easily persuaded. 

I couldn't afford to go but the seats were ground level near the stage. Papa Hutt wasn't best pleased he had to take me again (as there was no way I was driving to Birmingham) but I told him that Charlie told me to "do it" so I have to. :D

It worked. 

I was not prepared on Saturday (just gone) to find out where my seats were. 

I was a little lost and when I asked a random fan if they knew where I was going she pointed to the seats right in front of the OMFG zone. I was thinking 'this cannot be right' and was worried at any moment someone would tell me to move. Ha. 

The main stage was a little further back (not much) and then the OMFG zone was in the middle then the stage again in front of me. 

I was stoked man. I was so freaking happy that I could finally get some decent pictures and see them so close up. 

James's mic was right in front of me, then Charlie and Matt was furthest away. 

Watching them perform this time was even better. I just wish I had got to meet them.

Because I am a singer I always have a little day dream when I'm at a concert, of me singing/performing on the stage with the artist right there and then. 

Again, my dreams are bigger than my boobs. :) 

All in all it was the best money I have ever spent and yes that is over all the makeup I buy. Ha. 

The only thing that could of topped those nights would of been to attend a Michael Jackson concert and that ain't going to happen any time soon. 

Although, (I still think he's alive living in Bahrain)but that's another story!

Their vocals were on par, their banter was on point, the love was immense, the songs bought back so many memories for me and all in all I have fallen in love with them all over again. 

I still have their calendar and albums under my bed. After all those years! 

I cannot wait to attend the tour of their new album! 

Busted... You are and were on FIRE!!

What's In My Bedroom | Bedroom Tour.

Oh hello there :) 

You're back! 

Or, you are new... If so welcome! 

It's Friday tomorrow, I cannot believe how quick this week has gone. I see Busted again on Saturday and I am so very excited. 

I am currently freaked out because I seem to have occurred a weird bumpy rash over my cheeks and under my eyes. I have broke out in spots too on my t-zone. I just don't know where it's come from. I haven't worn makeup for a couple of days and only used my usual skincare products. My face right now seems to be really sensitive. First eye infections from makeup and now this. I just don't actually understand. 

If anyone has had something similar please let me know. I get real anxious about things like this. 

I am now into my six month of job searching and I am slowly giving up on any hope I had left in me. I feel like I am living a nightmare right now, job wise. Give a woman a break man!! 

I spend A LOT of time in my room either blogging, job searching, singing or well just decorating it. So I thought I would give y'all a little insight into my lone wolf den and where I spend most of my time. 

It's my little 'me time' space. It's where I get creative, have a cry, watch countless hours of movies/tv and where my boy Cody lives. My room used to be black and purple and at the time I thought it was a great idea until soon after I felt like I was living in a bat cave home to Dracula. It had to go. It felt negative and dark. 

Now, it's white with splashes of copper and rose gold and a hint of grey. It still needs work and I still have a lot left to do furniture, carpet and accessories wise. 

I hope you like it and let me know what you think or if there is anything you would recommend putting in there. 

I recently moved a lot of my makeup and accessories into my dressing table drawers because I am slowly running out of room for my things. Ha. I keep everything at hand so I can do my makeup all in one place.

Yay my new ring light!! Can't wait to start using this for my makeup looks and YouTube videos.

Yep, that's correct, you aren't seeing things. I do have two wardrobe drawers filled with snacks. *Covers eyes*. 

 So that's my room. I need to get rid of that nasty carpet though. It's vile!!! I love the fact my room is white, which is funny because I used to find white 'boring'. I can now add any colour I want as an accent and it just works. I love homeware and for things to co-ordinate, it's my space for my thoughts and dreams. A piece of me that no one can destroy.
